Breathe, Energize, and Connect with Your Body

In this yoga class, you will learn to connect your breath with your movement, improve your alignment, and cultivate mindfulness. You will also learn how to modify poses to prevent injuries.

Breath Awareness

We will start each class with a few minutes of breath awareness. This will help you to focus on your breath and to connect with your body. You will learn to breathe deeply and to use your breath to move through the poses.


Throughout the class, I will provide clear instructions on alignment. This will help you to get the most out of the poses and to avoid injuries. I will also share information about the benefits of yoga and how to practice it safely.


Alignment is essential for a safe and effective yoga practice. I will provide clear instructions on how to align your body in each pose. I will also offer modifications to make the poses accessible to all levels of experience.


Yoga is a great way to cultivate mindfulness. In this class, you will learn to focus on your breath and to be present in your body. You will also learn to let go of distractions and to savor the present moment.


I will modify poses to enable you to explore each pose according to your own body and its capabilities. My own body has suffered injuries and as I’ve over 50 I am living with a not-perfect body I, therefore, understand that no two are the same, but with considered positioning and the use of props you can increase your own flexibility and strength.
