Harmony in Motion – Hatha Yoga Class

Join us for a rejuvenating journey through the ancient practice of Hatha Yoga. Rooted in traditional yogic principles, this class focuses on harmonizing body, mind, and spirit through a combination of asanas (poses), pranayama (breath control), and meditation techniques.

Class Structure:

  • Warm-Up: Begin with gentle movements and breathing exercises to center the mind and prepare the body for practice.
  • Asana Practice: Explore a variety of Hatha Yoga poses, including standing, seated, and reclining postures, to enhance flexibility, strength, and balance.  
  • Breathwork (Pranayama): Learn techniques to regulate and deepen your breath, promoting relaxation and enhancing the flow of vital energy (prana) throughout the body.
  • Guided Relaxation: Experience deep relaxation and release tension through guided relaxation techniques, allowing for a profound sense of peace and inner stillness.
  • Meditation: Conclude the practice with a guided meditation to cultivate mindfulness, clarity, and inner awareness, leaving you feeling grounded and centered.

Suitability: This class is suitable for you as a beginner or who has limited experience. Modifications and variations will be offered to accommodate individual needs and abilities.  You will be asked to complete a health questionaire at the time of booking.

Attire & Equipment: Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for ease of movement. Bring a yoga mat and any props you may need, such as blocks, straps, or blankets. (If you wish to borrow a mat please let me know at time of booking).
